· Public outreach and conservation education initiatives of The LandTrust for Central North Carolina, including classroom presentations and wildlife education hikes.
· Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary, a new animal rescue group, formed for the sole purpose of starting a no-kill animal sanctuary in Rowan County.
