Time: Registration & check-in at 9 a.m. - Walk begins at 10 a.m.

Location: Registraion and starting point - Knox Middle School, 1625 W Park Rd
Salisbury, NC 28144.

Entry Fee: $15 for adults (includes registration and event T-shirt).

  • Mail a registration form to The LandTrust for Central NC, P.O. Box 4284, Salisbury, NC 28145. Please make checks out to The LandTrust for Central NC, with "Paws in the Park" in the memo line.
  • Adults are considered individuals 18 or older. Each adult who walks will pay $15 regardless of how many dogs they have or don't have (a dog is not required for the walk). Children under 18 may walk free. If they want a t-shirt they may purchase one while supplies last.

The funds raised during this event will help support the following community initiatives:

  • Public outreach and conservation education initiatives of The LandTrust for Central North Carolina, including classroom presentations and wildlife education hikes.
  • Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary, a new animal rescue group, formed for the sole purpose of starting a no-kill animal sanctuary in Rowan County. For more information visit www.FaithfulFriendsNC.com.
